文章利用清代电报建设这一自然实验，构建双重差分法(DID)识别策略，实证研究发现电报联结缩小了清代府间利率差，整合了资本市场。即清代两个府一旦都开通电报，两府之间的利率差会下降约1.6个百分点。对清代奏折和《申报》的文本分析发现，通电报的府有更频繁的信息流动，说明电报降低了信息成本、提高了信息传递频率，进而提升跨府金融套利的可能性。然而，过高的交易成本和交通成本会阻碍电报发挥资本市场整合作用。此外，银行和票号这类跨区域金融中介则有助于电报对资本市场的整合，其中非人格化的银行发挥了尤为突出的作用。具体而言，银行可以通过跨行合作整合资本市场，而票号的资本市场整合作用仅局限于同一家票号的不同分号之间。本文提供了信息摩擦影响资本市场整合的因果证据，并且实证比较了非人格化的银行和人格化的票号在整合资本市场中的不同作用，从信息技术和资本市场整合的视角回应了“大分流”问题。

主题：Impacts of Consumer Subsidies on NEV Promotion in China: A Demand Estimation from the Perspective of Power Type

Chinese government introduced a comprehensive program of subsidies on consumers to promote NEVs, ranging from direct purchase subsidies and tax breaks to the provision of charging infrastructure and traffic benefits. Since models with different power type differ significently in energy and using attributes, we think that promotion policies among power type aren’t different enough, changing the true consumer choices. By a structural approach, this paper investigates the consumer preferences to NEVs with different power types. Our counterfactual analysis shows how and how much subsidies influence the sales of NEVs among power types by simulating a range of differentiated policy groups, which have important implications in the context of subsidy phase out, rare infrastructure, and intense competition among manufacturers.
